What herbs truly work? As you may know, so many herbal products are on the market and they are not evaluated by FDA for either efficacy or safety. All are claimed to be functional whereas currently none is yet accepted by FDA. The truth is that, while most are not, some are indeed backed by solid research data or by historic clinical uses like the traditional Chinese medicines. Our expertise lets us research critically and identify the truly functional herbs or herbal formulas.

What herbs are safe? Sometimes a herbal supplement is functional but is not safe. For example, a popular TCM formula Long Dan Xie Gan Wan is found toxic to the kidney because of a key herbal ingredient aristolochic acid. We make efforts to exclude all such herbal supplements. (We have now obtained a Long Dan Xie Gan Wan product that DOES NOT contain aristolochic acid and added it to our stock since May 2007.)

What herbal makes do we sell? There are hardly any herbal supplements proprietary. Each is produced by multiple vendors with big differences in quality and price. We always choose the makes that are in high quality yet economically priced to the consumers. As a result, our customers pay much less for high quality products.

How do we price? We know how hard for each of us to make money and we price our herbal supplements as inexpensively as possible. In fact, if you are a savvy shopper, you may find yourself the identical products are marked "on sale" for $14.99 in other sites whereas we sell them as regular prices for only $6-$7.

Value never ends. We take every measure to give customers value. For example, we only offer USPS shipping at $5.50 (free for orders over $35) because we stock the products and normally ship within 1 business day. Customers may receive their orders as short as 2 days. This is faster than many Fedex shippings in other sites where they either do not stock the items or do not ship promptly even you have paid $20 for the fastest shipping.
