Cold|\Flu herbs
I bought Isatis Root (Ban Lan Gen) recently about one week ago thinking that it would be good to have it just in case. Well, to my surprise, I recently was diagnosed with Influenza A and I thought why not give this a herb a try instead of taking Tamiflu. Ban Lan Gen actually has helped me to lessen my cold suffering symptoms (body ache, sinus problem, chills, dizziness). Wow!! This is an amazing herb.

Great Concentration
This is a great product with a strong concentration compared to the raw herb which is very woody. Use this product to avoid other tea of this name that has high sugar contents. Take a higher amount or concentration can help with the flu virus and the likes with is critical for the next few months. Plant evolution of so many millions of years has perfected anti-viral for this plant and know we are utilizing this feature. Higher concentration makes it very therapeutic against viruses. In western medicine, we have only invented anti-viral in the last 20 or so years. Mix this with other teas like Nettle can boost the anti-inflammatory and anti-histamine effects all together. Can be drank daily for sustained effect without the dreaded side effect of western medicine. It taste very good too and even kids love it to get rid of classic allergies.

Great herb!
I use this mixing with other herbs like Astragalus and Fang Feng for my husband’s immunity. He has an allergy problem and this combination of herbs really helps him. Plan to repurchase!

For sore throat or fever
This is my go-to herb for sore throat, fever-ish sensation, or dullness and ache that may develop to cold or flu. They say this herb helps to "cool down" the body while works like antiviral. At the onset, I'll take Ban Lan Gen as tea with specified dose (this is concentrated extract), and the funny sensations are usually gone in 24 hours.

Excellent product!
I have been taking Ban Lan Gen for over a year now. It is the best product around for when I am feeling sluggish or any cold or allergy symptoms coming on. I would highly recommend it and Active Herb is the best company out there!
