What does it do?
Yunnan Baiyao was invented in 1902 by Dr. Qu Huanzhang in Yunnan, China. In China, Yunnan Baiyao is a household name as first-aid for small cuts or bruise.† One may simply apply the Yunnan Baiyao powder topically or swallow the powder.
In the traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) terms, Yunnan Baiyao disperses blood stasis, invigorates the blood, and thus supports a normal homeostasis of blood clotting.†.
Yunnan Baiyao is so prized in China that the exact ingredients and production procedure of Yunnan Baiyao remains state secrets of China. It is believed that the main Chinese herb is San Qi, or called Tien Chi, Panax pseudoginseng, Panax notoginseng, Notoginseng.
Currently, Yunnan Baiyao is only legitimately produced by Yunnan Baiyao Group Co., Ltd, one of the top state pharmaceutical companies in China.

My dog was diagnosed with squamous cell oral cancer in March right before his 15th birthday. The vet thought that given his age and the size of the tumor he would have about a month to live. He is now more than 15 1/2 years old--it has been 8 months since diagnosis and against all odds, he continues to have a good quality of life. He has only had one bleeding episode (which apparently are typically much more common and problematic) and while the tumor does continue to grow, he is eating and is very energetic. He takes quite a few supplements and has a very good diet as well but I feel fairly certain that these pills have made a big difference.

Awesome with I'm Yunity!
My beagle was diagnosed with an aggressive cancer that caused a tumor on his spleen to rupture about 3 years ago. They gave us 2 - 4 months for him. He is still with us, 3 years later, age 16. I'm so thankful that Auburn University knows about yb (but I found I'm Yunity on my own). I would suggest using the 2 together. My beagle, Clyde, not only way out lived the dr's prognisis, but he has been running around like a puppy since we started giving him the combo. We have had to use the red pill a few times, but he has always bounced back within a few hours of using it. So glad these medications/herbs are available for us!

Magical healing formula!
This is a truly magical healing formula! It's almost unbelievable what this formula can do.
Most of the stories of healing for this formula on this site are for pets but it works the exact same way for humans.
I had a severe bleeding bruise on my shin when I fell onto the edge of a concrete surface. Shortly after taking one Yunnan Baiyao capsule the bleeding ceased. I continued to take three capsules a day and by the end of two boxes my injury was practically healed.
Amazing!
Make sure to keep a box of this at home in your medicine cabinet, in your car, and in your bag when you travel -- just in case.

Improved quality of life
Our oncology vet recommended Yunnan Baiyao when our 11 year old Frenchie was diagnosed with TCC cancer. She was diagnosed with a bladder tumor that was bleeding quite a bit. Her situation is severe enough that she needed to take the “magic” red pill and then one capsule every 8 hours. Within two days of starting, her bleeding stopped, and we have been able to enjoy her for what little time we have left. She has been on them for a little over three weeks, and we have not had any instances of bleeding like we had before. It was delivered quickly (even just the standard delivery)! We are so thankful for Active Herb for providing these capsules as we haven’t been able to find them anywhere else.

I don't know why or how, but my 12 year old lab has lived a month longer than she was supposed to, while taking Yunnan Baiyao. She has hemangiosarcoma and was given 24 hours to live due to the internal bleeding. We took her home from the vet to make her comfortable and began giving her these pills. She is still with us, and I honestly don't expect her to be with us very much longer, but we got another month of time with our sweet girl and that time is precious to us. Pills arrived very quickly after placing my order and much less expensive than getting from the vet's office. Thank you!

Truly astonishing results
Our dear 13 year old greyhound developed bleeding skin cancers a couple of years ago. She underwent surgery to remove the affected areas. Surgery was successful, but our vet warned that it most likely would return. A year later it did as predicted. The vet agreed with me that our aged greyhound would be hard-pressed to survive another surgery and suggested as an alternative yunnan baiyao be given orally. I was admittedly skeptical, having never heard of the stuff, but ordered some from Active Herb. To my complete amazement, after only two days on the medication the lesions dried up completely. That was months ago, and she still has not had any bleeding. Amazing!

Bringing Energy to my Doggie
I purchased this after the Vet gave my dog 1 hour to 3 weeks. He recomended Yunnan Baiyao as a "Hail Mary" and indicated that Tuffs had some succes with it during surgeries. Belleek, the dog, wasn't eating much and has a very large tumor on his spleen filling with fluids including blood. This product (while not curing him) is making his time with us more compfortable. Our 64 lb dog (now much thinner) is getting 2 capsulse 2 x a day. He started responding to petting then even went out to play after a few days. While still sick and not eating much, he is more comfortable and responding more. He has been taking the Yunnan Baiyao for 3 weeks now. We have nothing else to contribute the mood change so we will keep him on the supplement for as long as we can.

Great Customer Service
I purchased Yunnan Baiyao from Active Herb to help with my dog's cancer. I truly believe this product helped keep her much more stable during her last few weeks. She had a bleeding tumor on her heart, and only survived about 3 weeks after her diagnosis, but during that time, did not suffer any additional sudden crises. After she passed, I had several unopened boxes left. Active Herb let me return them with no issues and refunded my card. Their customer service was very helpful and compassionate.

My dog has Hemangiosarcoma bleeding spleen cancer. He is 26 lbs and a Boston Terrier. How long can I give him this? The vet removed/drained 2.8 lbs of blood fluid from his abdomen today. I am praying this will help. Thank you
Hi there- I'm so sorry to hear about your pup. I've been there very recently as well. Note, I am not a vet professional, but my surgeon advised that my dog take this product daily after her spleen was removed (check with your vet)- my dog is much bigger than yours so I don't know what your dose would be. Most of the reviews I've seen on this site and elsewhere have shown that people give this to their pets for the remainder of their lives. I've read on ther sites that over time liver levels can change and that they should be monitored because of that (again, check with your vet)- but certainly some occasional labs seem worth it if the product helps elongate our fur babies lives. What is the difference between the blue box and the green box? I got a green box from my vet.
