Tong Bian Wan (Tong Bian Pian,
通便丸),
literally "Constipation Pills" in Chinese,
may moisten the intestine to promote bowel movement.† The Chinese herb is
used for accumulation of fire-heat-blood marked by constipation due to dryness of
the intestine, dry stools and abdominal flatulence and anorexia of the aged
due to deficiency of intestinal fluid, and women’s constipation after childbirth.†
