I purchased this and a couple other dried herbs a few weeks ago from ActiveHerb and am quite satisfied with the quality (I've ordered a few times from ActiveHerb). I've been using this as part of a general immunity boosting traditional Chinese medicine formula and haven't had any problems. I typically get my herbs between ActiveHerb and a couple other sites, and while ActiveHerb may be a little more pricier, it makes up for it in quality and availability. You get what you pay for, and you can see the immediate difference in quality of herb (less discolored/moldy pieces, better packaging, etc.).
