High quality source of this Precious Herb
As far as I can tell there are no sulfites; just pure natural substance. Poria is very helpful in resolving dampness and is considered one of the 8 Precious Herbs in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Most food and eating custom in American culture causes dampness in the spleen (even if it also causes yin deficiency, depletion of organ moisture). Poria is a very useful herb here. Its diuretic properties are special in that it instead of simply making one urinate, it balances inter-cellular fluid so it won't exacerbate yin deficiency and it will strengthen the spleen.
