Not fast acting nor free of side effects.
The recommended dose of 5 pills 3x/day did nothing for me other than cause some evening gas. After days of titrating the dose, 21 pills/day finally began to work but sometimes too loose and always with cramping with each dose and gas in the evening. Titrating down to a slightly lower dose that would still produce results took more days was unreliable and did not stop the cramping and gas. This take too many days to get relief and prevent painful impaction. There are other supplements or herbal laxatives that will work the first day! I switched to a non-bulking multi-fiber and herb supplement from my local health foods store with a dosage of only 5 pills each morning or again in the evening and, unlike Constipass--can be taken daily for chronic constipation. Glad to have found something reliable and with ZERO side effects!

Didn’t work for me
This didn’t work for me, but I read another review that suggested Fireclear instead and it worked! We all have different reasons for our symptoms, I suppose mine was from liver heat. Thank you to the person who suggested Fireclear instead.

Found Success in another product
Although I’m highly impressed with the company, I tried constipass without any luck. However, I then moved on to try Fireclear and am having so much relief! I think it all depends on why you are having constipation in the first place.

Short hope, long-term disappointment

It works!
This works great. When I don't have bowel movement in a morning, I take it right away, so I'll have bowel movement in the afternoon same day. If I wait too long, it won't work until next morning. Senna also works, but it causes stomach cramping and stools tend to be too soft. Tong Chang Pian is more natural and no side effect at all.

Helps with regularity
It seems to help my mother who is 96. It's only been two weeks. The first week had more of a detoxifying effect which she had no problem with since she was sheltering-in anyways. The second week it has been more normal. She's happy with it. She takes only 5 pills in the A.M.

Excellent product
My husband and myself are very satisfied with Constipass. We take 7 to 10 at a time and sometimes it requires another dose but it always works. The best feature of this product is that we never experienced cramps or any other discomfort.

This formula was not as effective for me as CoptisClear. It does give some mild relieve. Dosage taken was 12 pills 3x a day. Just completed one bottle so too soon to tell if this will require more than one bottle.

More of a stool softener
This product does not work to go to the bathroom overnight or even the next day. It is so much like a stool softener nothing more. I do not like the return policy making it not worth the money to return.

Effective and comfortable

Works well
If I need help, I take 10 twice day - afternoon and evening - for a few days and then my problem is usually resolved. It's definitely not like senna - much more gentle. Be patient and keep taking it.
