Dried Me out Bad!!!
Don't make the mistake I did and think this is the same or similar to Huang Lian Jie Du Wan!!! I took these and in 3 days I woke up short of breath because it was drying out my lungs and throat. I am still getting drier 2 days after I have stopped taking them. I tend to be a "Yin Deficient" type of person. These are not for me.

My urine has been orange since I started taking this product. I'm drinking lots of water but still darker than usual. I know it's supposes to remove toxins through urine but is this normal? Also mouth has been very dry.
After taking Huanglian Shangqing tablets, it is normal for urine to turn yellow. Huanglian Shangqing tablets contain ingredients such as coptis, which may affect the color of urine. Typically, this change is temporary and will not affect health. However, if you are concerned or experience other discomfort, please consult a doctor for professional advice.

Is this product ok for those with yang deficiency (prone to coldness)? If not, then is there any detox pill (to move bowel and clear lungs) for yang deficient person?
