Strange smell
I bought Shan Yao a few months ago. It has strong orange peel smell which I never smell from products from other places. I wonder why.
And my stomach doesn't feel well after eating it.

sulfur
This product contains a lot of sulfur which makes the odd awful before and after cooking. In order not to waste money, I soaked it for long time and changed the water several times. Then I used a sulfur test kit to test whether the sulfur is in the normal range. But the result is still bad.
