    What does it do?

    Supports Bones And Tendons

No matter what happened, it is always your passion to get back on the tennis court or golf links sooner than late, or do whatever you enjoy doing.

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) applications for trauma and injuries dates back several centuries. And unlike the western approach of icing an injury, thereby decreasing blood flow, the TCM approach is to speed healing by invigorating Blood. This allows both Qi and blood to flow unobstructed.

One of the most famous TCM herbal remedies for this is Jin Gu Die Da Wan. Our unique formulation of this classic TCM remedy is BruiseMender™.

    Complex Formula Breaks Blood Stasis

BruiseMender has its roots in martial arts. It is easy for any lay person to understand why bruising and swelling occur in martial art schools.

BruiseMender is one of the most complex formulas in Chinese medicine. In fact, BruiseMender has 23 ingredients.

Several of the herbs in BruiseMender break up blood stasis, which is essentially blood trapped in the vessels. Other herbs move and strengthen the blood. In addition, some of the herbs by nature strengthen bones and connective tissue. And some of the herbs are mild Yang tonics. Yang is warming energy, which is necessary for speeding up healing time. When an injury occurs, blood has a tendency to stagnate. BruiseMender works by breaking up this blood stasis. This action is critical, especially if you are following the usual western protocol of immobilizing a joint, which causes blood stasis.

    How Does BruiseMender Work?

Because of the large amount of ingredients in the formula, the actions of the herbs will be abbreviated and grouped together.

The chief blood-stasis breaking herb in BruiseMender is San Qi (Notoginseng). The other herbs that assist in resolving blood stasis and/or invigorate the blood include Dang Gui (Chinese Angelica Root); Bai Shao (White Peony Root); Chi Shao (Red Peony Root); Tao Ren (Peach Kernel); Hong Hua (Safflower), which also unblocks the Channels; Liu Ji Nu (Artemesia Herb); Su Mu (Sappan Wood); Mu Dan Pi (Tree Peony Bark); Mo Yao (Myrrh Resin); Ru Xiang (Boswellia Resin), Jiang Huang (Turmeric), and San Leng (Bur Reed Tuber), all three of which also promote Qi movement; and Tian Gua Zi (Muskmelon Seed).

Ingredients in the formula that may strengthen sinews and bones include Gu Sui Bu (Drynaria Rhizome); Xu Duan (Teasel Root); Zi Ran Tong (Pyritum); and Tu Bie Chong (Ground Beetle), which also dissolves stasis.

Supporting herbs in the formula are Fang Feng (Siler Root); Zhi Shi (Immature Bitter Orange), which breaks up stagnant Qi and eliminates accumulations; Mu Tong (Akebia vine), which promotes and unblocks urination; and two herbs which expel phlegm: Jie Geng (Platycodon Root) and Gan Cao (Licorice Root).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It does work, it heals. I was skeptical when I read the AD. Bought it for a try. My arm had an injury, due to heavy lifting. Tried the Chinese medicine doctor (but it did not heal, but the bones felt more energy) and Chinese Chiropractor (moved the dislocated shoulder bone back to its place) . After a month without treatment, it was very painful when moving or lifting. Felt like a handicap. Then tried this herbal medicine, it heals gradually. I feel one day less pain each day. Now I am on the third bottle. It has already healed 90%. I am buying more, in hoping to heal completely. I believe I had tendon injury, and this medicine really helps. Sometimes, Chinese medicine is superior than the Western surgery. For those are skeptical, you should give it a try. I am a "real" user, not an actor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Any time I over do it with yard work or in the gym I use this Any time I over do it with yard work or in the gym I use BruiseMender and my aches and pains are gone within 8 hours. I usually take a bit more than the recommended dose (5 pills 4 times) to achieve this effect. I have taken this in the past for several weeks and it seems to really increase blood circulation to areas of the body that need it. Cuts and calluses seem to heal faster and my skin appears smoother and shiner, and my hair and nails appear to grow faster as well. My Chinese Herbalism teachers say that formulas like this are supposed to half the recovery time for injuries and surgeries. Amazing! Thank you ActiveHerb. :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Results I purchased this product because I felt it may help with the ligaments, tendons and muscles of my arthritic knees. My rational was that due to the changes in the bones of the knee, different stress was put on the muscles, tendons and ligaments. Since I tried most of product specifically produced for arthritis with no results, I figured this was a test I was willing to try. I do believe it helped make the tendons, muscles and ligaments feel less sore.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far, so good I had a fairly serious injury to my arm while I was in another country. The bone was fractured, but it was the soft tissue injury that was far worse. I got back home two months after the accident. While I was abroad I was getting physical therapy and acupuncture, which helped. But I was told it could take 6 months more before it would heal completely. There was a lot of tendon and ligament damage, fluid in the joint and deep bruising of the bone. After I got back, I ordered Bruise Mender. I expected it to take a while to take effect, and I am now nearly finished my third bottle. But it is working, and my elbow movement has been steadily getting better. I will keep taking these until it's completely healed, so I might expect to take 3 more bottles. The cost of this treatment is far less than what it would cost to see a professional. I am very satisfied. Something else I noticed. Last week while working on some repairs around the home I accidentally cut my finger deeply. Yeah I know, what the heck, another accident. Blood everywhere. I thought I might have to go to the emergency room, but decided to wait a little while to see how it healed. The bleeding stopped gradually, and then to my surprise over the next three or four days the cut healed dramatically. I was so surprised as how fast it healed. It was expecting to have a bandage on the wound for a week at least. Within 3 days the bandage was off. I know it was because of the herbs. I can remember healing that quickly from such a deep cut before.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cannot believe how well and how fast this worked I created a TCM “medicine chest” with the help of my acupuncturist. Not only does it have my routine herbal formulas, she recommended keeping first aid as well as cold and flu type formulas handy. What a terrific idea this wound up to be. I had a very bad fall 10 days ago. Went from standing to a hard fall on wrists and knees. The next day i had the worst bruising i have had in years ( and i bruise easily). The palms and wrists of both hands were black as were the full expanse of both knees. Serious sprains, soft tissue, ligament damage. Found bruise mender and notes on its usage in my kit. Took a double dose immediately after fall. Took another double dose next morning, afternoon and evening and switched to normal doses thereafter. Within 36 hours bruising was fading significantly without going through all the various color changes i normally have. Within 4 days no sign of a bruise anywhere. Truly miraculous. At the 10 day mark one hand and knee are recovered. The other hand and knee are still sore but much improved. I can do all my normal activities except yoga now. High hopes that within the month i will be better than new. Hi

    Product Q&A

Can this be taken with other medications? I was taking the AcniPearl medication and don't want it to contradict each other.
